St Paul's Catholic College Providing Education For The Diocese Of Westminster
St Paul’s Awards Evening was held on Wednesday 12th July and is always one of our annual highlights and this year was no exception. With over 700 people in attendance, the Main Hall was buzzing with proud parents, staff and students. It was a wonderful evening of celebration where awards were presented to students in the following categories: Academic Excellence, Academic Progress, Pastoral Service, Peer Supporters, DofE, Expressive Arts, Headteacher Awards, Positive PARS, Year 11 Achievement Awards, The St Paul’s Achieving Excellence, Learning to Serve Award and The St Paul’s Ethos Award. Musical entertainment was provided by Autumn Clarke (Year 11) singing `Rolling in the Deep’ by Adele with Kirstin and Bethanie Hyland (Year 8) as backing vocals, and Ms Harper and Nathaniel Dauz providing the instrumental. The evening opened with our Year 7 and Year 8 choir singing ‘What do I Know’ by Ed Sheeran. Our Guest Speaker was former student, Wendy Anane-Forkou, who inspired everyone in the room with her speech about what makes success, aiming to be the best and taking responsibility. A wonderful evening and a fitting end to the academic year.
