St Paul's Catholic College Providing Education For The Diocese Of Westminster
The Year 11 students celebrated in style at the end of year Prom held at Shepperton Studios on 20th June. The arrival of the students is one of the main events at Prom; it’s where we get the first glimpse of everyone in all their finery. The girls arrived looking fantastic in their prom dresses and the boys very smart in their suits, with some students making an entrance in some very stylish modes of transport. This year we even had a horse-drawn carriage. The evening started with a drink for everyone on arrival with the students taking to the dance floor almost straightaway with Frank Odom Okyere leading the way! During the evening, pupils had a chance to have their photos taken by a professional photographer, while a magician amazed everyone with his tricks. A favourite feature of the night is the handing out of the awards. Students were given awards for `Best Smile’, `Bromance,’ `Most likely to win the lottery and lose the ticket’ and many more. The most prestigious award of the evening is that of Prom King and Queen and this year this honour went to Frank Odom Okyere and Lauryn John Jules. Finally, before the students could continue to dance the night away, we were shown the much awaited Year 11 Leavers’ Video. The evening was a great success and enjoyed by everyone.
