Year 11 Exam Mass
We were delighted to celebrate our Year 11 students' time here at St Paul's in their Exam Mass held at St Ignatius Church last week. The Mass was a special coming together of pupils and all those who have supported their learning over the last five years of their school life. We were delighted to welcome many parents, and thank Fr Wojciech Stachyra SChr for presiding over the ceremony. Many students participated in the Mass through giving readings and singing in our choir, led by Mrs Harper, creating a beautiful atmosphere of worship. Each tutor marked their time together by creating memory boards which were offered up during the Offertory procession. At the end of the celebration, the Head Boy and Head Girl, gave the vote of thanks and Headteacher, James Mc Nulty, gave the final speech.
After the ceremony, students had a buffet lunch at the Loyola Centre, courtesy of `Surplus to Supper’, where they had a chance to write their farewells on each other’s shirts.
A wonderful year group, who we shall miss dearly. We are very proud of all our students and wish them every success in their GCSEs.
