Year 8 Retreats
This year’s Year 8 retreats were truly special, held at the Sunbury Methodist Church. Pupils were invited to reflect deeply on the theme: God loves us and calls us by name. Throughout the retreat, students engaged in heartfelt discussions and shared personal reflections on what it means to be loved by God. It was a beautiful opportunity for spiritual growth and connection.
Alongside these moments of reflection, pupils enjoyed a variety of fun activities, including games, crafting St Thérèse of Lisieux Good Deed Beads, and creating personalised name boards.
The retreat season concluded with a reverent and joyful Mass celebrated by Fr Sidon Sagar from St Michael's Parish in Ashford. It was wonderful to see so many pupils actively participating - bringing up the offertory, serving at the altar, and reading during the service.
A special thank you to Miss Harper for leading the Years 8 and 9 Choir, whose beautiful singing added so much to the celebration. The retreat was a memorable experience filled with faith, creativity, and community spirit - a truly special time shared together.
