• Friday 10 July 2026 Year 10 Wintershall Retreat As part of Enrichment Week, our Year 10 pupils enjoyed a retreat at the beautiful Wintershall Estate in Guildford. Our retreat programme is a vital element of Catholic Life, and gave students a chance to reflect, grow spiritually, and connect with nature in the peaceful Surrey countryside.
• Monday 15 June 2026 Year 10 Mass Staff and students in Year 10 gathered to celebrate Mass together recently. It was a wonderful gathering, with our pupils playing an active role through the readings, altar serving, choir singing, and thoughtful bidding prayers. We would like to thank Father Christian of St Ignatius Church for leading us in this prayerful celebration.
• Friday 22 May 2026 Year 12 Leavers' Celebration of the Word
• Thursday 14 May 2026 Praying the Rosary In Catholic tradition May is the month we dedicate to Mary. Here at St Paul's we mark this important month by learning more about the Rosary.
• Thursday 14 May 2026 The Ascension of the Lord Mass On 14th May, we came together as a school to commemorate the ascent of Jesus Christ into Heaven in The Ascension of the Lord Mass. In Christian belief, Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven 40 days after his resurrection. Jesus' ascension into Heaven was witnessed by his eleven remaining apostles.
• Monday 11 May 2026 Year 11 Leavers Celebration of the Word Friday, 9 May marked a significant milestone for our Year 11 pupils as we gathered together for a special Leavers' Celebration of the Word, commemorating the end of an important chapter in their journey.
• Friday 20 March 2026 Stations of the Cross At this time of year, our KS3 students take part in a reflective journey through the Stations of the Cross, thoughtfully engaging with each station as they live out the meaning and spirit of the Lenten season.
• Monday 26 January 2026 St Paul's Mission Statement St Paul's is a community of faith, echoing St Paul's letter to Timothy where - as pillars of Christian living - he stresses "love, service and doing the best possible."
• Thursday 15 January 2026 Year 7 Retreats A great start to the Year 7 retreats, beginning with prayer and then some ice-breaking activities to help everyone settle into the day.

• Tuesday 6 January 2026 Feast of the Ephipany At the beginning of the school term, the school celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany, also known as Three Kings' Day. This important feast in the Christian calendar marks the revelation of Jesus Christ to the wider world and is traditionally celebrated twelve days after Christmas.
• Thursday 18 December 2025 Diocese Christmas Card Competition The RE Department hosted a Christmas Card competition this year, inviting KS3 students to design cards based on the theme of Luke 2:8-15. Miss Delahunty and Miss Mendoza selected individual winners from each class and have submitted their entries to the Diocese competition, hoping for some exciting winning announcements in the New Year. Well done to all KS3 students – the cards they created were fabulous.
• Wednesday 17 December 2025 Advent Celebration of the Word As the academic term came to a close, our school community gathered for one of St Paul's most cherished traditions - the annual Advent Celebration of the Word. This occasion is always a highlight of the year, and this time our theme, “Be Still,” invited us all to pause, reflect, and prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.
• Wednesday 10 December 2025 Year 12 Mass Our Year 12 students came together to celebrate Mass following their retreats. The theme of the celebration echoed that of the retreats: to pause, re-centre, and reflect on their spiritual lives. It was wonderful to have so many of our pupils participate in the Mass. Thank you, Father Phillip, for leading us in this prayerful celebration and Miss Harper for the beautiful music by the School Choir to help us celebrate this Mass.
• Friday 5 December 2025 Year 12 Retreats This term, our Year 12 students took part in a retreat day. This was an important time for the year group as they prepared for exams and began the next phase of their studies.
• Wednesday 3 December 2025 Refugees Christmas Cards As part of our commitment to Catholic Social Teaching on Human Dignity, Solidarity, and the Common Good, Year 9 students led a project to support refugees this Christmas. Working in partnership with the Jesuit Refugee Service, pupils created Christmas cards which were sent to refugee families. These cards carried messages of hope and solidarity, reminding those who received them that they were valued and not forgotten. It was a simple yet powerful way for our school community to live out our faith in action.
• Monday 1 December 2025 Advent preparation The beginning of Advent is a season in which we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ Jesus. The Chaplaincy Team along with our Chaplain come together to prepare the school for this special time of year by decorating the chapel and preparing this year's Advent Wreath. Thank you to all the team and to Stephanie Brenner from Wrap and Tie Floral https://www.wrapandtiefloral.co.uk/ for helping our students – the chapel and the wreath look wonderful!
• Thursday 27 November 2025 Mass for the Faithfully Departed In November, our St Paul's family gathered in faith and love to celebrate the Holy Souls Mass, remembering all the Faithfully Departed. This special time invited us to pause, reflect, and pray for those who have gone before us - our dearly loved ones who now rest in God's care.
• Tuesday 25 November 2025 Year 9 Retreats As part of their ongoing spiritual development at St Paul's, Year 9 participated in their retreat with Rise Theatre Company.
• Friday 21 November 2025 Year 9 Mass Following their retreats, Year 9 gathered together to celebrate their Year 9 Mass. The theme echoed that of the retreats - exploring who we are and who God has created us to be. It was a lovely celebration, with students participating in the readings and presenting the offertory.
• Tuesday 4 November 2025 Harvest Foodbank Donation Our annual Harvest Collection is a cherished tradition at St Paul's, reminding us to give thanks for the blessings we have and supporting those in need. Responding to the call in Catholic Social Teaching for solidarity with those most in need and caring for the common good of all. Once again, our school community - staff, pupils, and families - generously donated a wealth of items to the local Foodbank at St Saviour's Church.
• Thursday 16 October 2025 Praying the Rosary- The Luminous Mysteries October is the month of the Holy Rosary, our school Chaplaincy Team have created a podcast on how to pray the rosary. Why not try praying the Luminous Mysteries alongside them. We hope it draws you nearer to Christ.
• Wednesday 15 October 2025 Praying the Rosary- The Sorrowful Mysteries October is the month of the Holy Rosary, our Year 7 Chaplaincy Team have marked their first half term here at St Paul's by creating a special podcast praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. We invite you to try praying the rosary alongside them. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
• Monday 29 September 2025 Year 5 Retreats The Year 5 students from St Ignatius Catholic Primary School had a wonderful day at St Paul's yesterday during their retreat, which centred around discovering their God-given talents. The students were enthusiastic, engaged, and fully participated in all the activities. It was a joy to work with them, and they were a credit to their school.
• Monday 22 September 2025 Year 8 Retreats This year's Year 8 retreats were truly special, held at the Sunbury Methodist Church. Pupils were invited to reflect deeply on the theme: God loves us and calls us by name. Throughout the retreat, students engaged in heartfelt discussions and shared personal reflections on what it means to be loved by God. It was a beautiful opportunity for spiritual growth and connection.
• Monday 8 September 2025 Welcome Back Masses Sixth Form students began the day with a `Welcome Back Mass' led by Father Christian from St Ignatius Church. A lovely start to the academic year for our Sixth Form pupils; we wish them every success in their studies
• Wednesday 30 July 2025 St Paul's Feast Day Feast Day this year, held in conjunction with the Solemnity of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, was celebrated with a whole school Mass in the Manor House gardens. We were honoured to have three priests; Father Mike from St Lawrence's, Governor Priest - Father Philip, Father Christian from our Sunbury parish as well as Deacon Duncan Macpherson from St Theodore's in Hampton, all to celebrate this most special of Masses.
